If we all went into busienss with the attitude of "I'm going to make this work no matter what', we would have so many more people become successful in business. No matter what business someone is in, there are going to be things that happen to set us back or slow us down, so we might as well learn to deal with them. If you view it all as an adventure, or even a game (one that you want to win, of course) it makes it a lot harder to be 'taken out' when things don't quite go the way we think they shoukd.
