What Gets You Going For Your Business, Do You Really Know?

So what really gets you going when building your business? Many people think that they know and that they are focused on it but, do they really?

I know for a fact that many people think that they know their “WHY” but, they don’t. They know the “why” that they have been told that they should have. They never really looked with in themselves to really find out their “why”.

Let me explain more in this video that I put together…

As I said in the video, many people say that their why is “to help other people”. But to me, that is very small and what everyone says. I believe that it may be to serve others but it goes deeper than to just help people. Think bigger on this. I’m sure that it is something that really goes deep.

I know for me, it’s the game of business that really gets me excited. I get all fired up and high energy when I’m playing the game of business. The more in-depth it gets, the better. The contributing to people lives comes as a by product of what I love to do. It’s like it’s a report card of how well my business is going. If I’m not contributing to a lot of peoples live, then my business isn’t doing well. Plain and simple.

But what about you? What really get’s you excited and fired up? I know that it is something that’s really big and that’s worth your time. So think about it. I mean really put some big thought on this. Find what drives your energy up quickly, easily, and powerfully. If you start to think about it and you automatically smile with the excitement, you know that you are on the right track.

In The Moment…

OK. This is something that I have wanted to share for a little bit and today just seemed like the right time for me to share this with you. Now I have to admit, this is not some business strategy or marketing tip. This is more to do with a life tip. But the funny thing is that these life tips play a bigger role in how we run our business than anything else.

Let me explain…

I don’t know if you realize the power of this. This is what I have experienced that has made the biggest changes in my life and I have grown and done the most when I’m present. I am sure that if you think about it, you will find this to be true for you too.

When we live in the present moment, there are no fears. You see, fear is about something that is coming, ie, the future. When you are present and in the moment, there are no thoughts of the future which make fear non-existent. All you are doing is being you and doing your best in this moment. Through doing this, you can achieve great things.

Now I talked about a quote from a great movie called “Kung Fu Panda“. In the movie, this old 1000 year of turtle talks about the present and how it is a gift. So here is that quote.

“You are too concerned with what was and what will be. There is a saying, yesterday is a history, tomorrow is a mystery, but today is a gift, THAT IS WHY IT IS CALLED THE PRESENT.”

If you read this quote and really listen to what it he is saying, you will understand that through living in the moment is where is where the real power of life is. Not in the future or in the past but the moment, the now.

I hope that you take this and you life in your moment right now. The sooner that you do, the happier you will be.

What Is Even The Point Of Starting A Business

Hey guy’s and gal’s

I felt like I wanted to share something with you that I feel pretty strongly about. It’s just as the title of this post says, “What is even the point of starting a business”?

I know the main reason that people give for starting a business. They want to be wealthy or they wanted control over their time. But that to me is not what the essence of what a business really is.

To me, a business ends up having it’s own life energy. Now I know that this sound a bit weird but if you have been around any business that is really moving and shaking, it has it’s own energy. At this point, it is not about the owner or the shareholders, it’s about what “the business” wants and needs.

Now this energy that the business ends up having has nothing to do with making the creator rich. That is just crap.

What it has to do with is the purpose for that business, the reason that the business was really started to begin with. See every business is doing it’s best to improve the lives of other people. Let me say that again,

EVERY BUSINESS ON THIS PLANET IS DOING IT’S BEST TO IMPROVE THE LIVES OF OTHER PEOPLE

Now that to me is the real reason that someone starts a business. They feel that they can make a difference in the world and they take action to make this happen. That is what has happened with every single successful business out there.

Think about it for a minute, really, stop and think about it. What is the purpose of companies like Facebook, Google, Apple, Sprint, Rich Dad, British Airways, and countless more. All of these companies are out there trying to make other people lives better.

It just so happens that profits are a by product of creating success so that is what people see but it’s not the root. The root is that some person, some entrepreneur, saw a way that they could improve or make someones life easier and that is why the business was created.

For myself, I know exactly why I’m building my business. I know why there is a need for what I do. I know this because I lived it for myself. I hated trying to figure out how to build a business successfully and I want to make it way easier for other people. It just sucks going through all that crap when there are far easier ways of doing things.

So as you go out there to your day to day activities of building your own particular business, make sure you know what value your business is bring to the world. If the only purpose of the business is to line your pocket book, then you need to stop right now because the world is too smart for that and people will see right through you.

Take the time and really find out why you are building your business. What is the real purpose of your business? Because the sooner that you figure this out, the sooner your business will start to create an energy of it’s own.

An Entrepreneur’s Mindset – What Does It Need To Look Like?

I originally was going to write this all out but when I got to thinking of how long that would actually be, I thought I would just make a video instead. This way, you will get the point quicker and with less struggle from me trying to write is nicely.

Like I said in the video, you creating success is much more the person that you end up becoming along your journey. This is the most rewarding thing that I have done and gone through and it is pretty much the same for every other successful entrepreneur that I know.

So I encourage you to look at who you want to be when you have built your business to the point that you want it to be and then work every day at being that person. The funny thing that will happen is that you will learn more about yourself in doing this then you think.

Reactive vs Proactive – There Is A Major Difference For Your Business

I wanted to share something that hit a bit home for me last weekend and I wanted to share it with you. It has to do with being Reactive vs Proactive. Let me explain what I am meaning by this.

Last weekend I went and I took a 2 day course on goal setting and goal achieving. Now in the course the facilitator talked about the difference between being a Reactive person or being a Proactive person. This is something that I had heard before and thought that I really understood it. But I realized something that for me took it to a completely new level so, I thought I would share this with you.

Let me start off with being Reactive. What it means to be reactive is that when things happen to you, you react. Basically it’s like a knee jerk reaction. You do not put any thought into it or take any time to think about it. All you are doing is giving away your power.

It happens like this, there is a stimulus and the you respond, so stimulus -> response, stimulus -> response, etc…

Now this is not a good way to live your life or to run your business. You are basically running around in crisis mode all the time and you never have any of your real power.

The flip side of this is being Proactive. When you are proactive, you are in control of things and you do not give away your power. When things happen to you you do not let the knee jerk reaction to happen. You give it the second, even a microsecond, to let yourself keep your power and act accordingly.

This works like this, there is a stimulus, you pause or think, then you respond. So stimulus -> think -> response, stimulus -> think -> response.

Through doing this, you are keeping control. What this also does is it keeps you out of crisis mode. What normally happens if you are being proactive, you normally get signals a head of time for some problem that might come up and you solve them them. Proactive people solve issues before they ever become an issue.

How does this impact your online business?

Well it is actually quite simple. No matter what business you have or are involved in, you are going to have tough times. You are going to have things that happen that you might not like. If you just react to the situation, you might not get the results that you might have other wise thought would happen.

But if you were proactive, you would have taken a step back and thought how can I make this work or, you might have delt with it long before it ever became an issue.

I hope that this has helped you with your business in some fassion.

PS: I also wanted to mention that through mastering this, it will also help your relationships that you have. Because we all know that in relationships, there are going to be times that were not quite as much fun or the other person is doing something that you do not totally agree with.

If you just react to the situation, you might end up hurting that relationship. And if there is tension in a relationship, particularly a personal one, we tend not to feel very well.

So make the choice to be proactive in all areas of your life. You will be glad that you did.

Re-Setting Your Focus Daily Is Important For Your Business

One of the challenges that come about in the home based business industry is being focused. When building a business, you end up needing to create the focus for yourself. There is no one there that is asking you or telling you that you need to do something so you must create it for yourself.

Let me explain how you can do this every day in this video training that I have put together.

Do you understand what it is that I am talking about here? Having a routine in the morning really sets up your mental and emotional self on how you want your day to go. You basically fill yourself up every morning with good intentions and good feeling. This energy carries on throughout your whole day.

When building a business, you need this kind of energy. It is very important that you have an abundance of energy to keep you in the game. Otherwise, you will just loose you motivation and you will quit. I have seen it before so many times.

Act On These Business Inspirations

I wanted to share something that happened to me today about taking action when you get these business inspirations. Many people get these everyday but most people fail to act when they get them. They have a thought or a good idea and they say “that’s great, I’ll write that down for another day”. Then they write it down and normally forget about this inspiration. Let me explain what I am talking about in this video.

You see what I am talking about. When these business inspirations and you do not act on them, they might be lost and you will never get that chance again. So act on these ideas that come to you. Most of the time you will just need to take a little bit of action and that’s it to start.

I know that over the next week, you are going to get at least one business inspiration come into your head. It will just fly in there and you will think that it is a great idea. When this happens, TAKE ACTION ON IT, right then and there. Don’t let anouther second go by where you do not take action and move forward with this thought.

The Power Of Being In The Right Emotional State With Your Business

There really is a very big connection with your emotional state and your business. Most people do not realize this but there is and it has a major impact on your business.

Without being in the right emotional state, your business will not have the energy that is needs to really grow. You are the one that nourishes your business and if you are not there emotionally, you are going to have a real challenge with having your business take shape.

Now you get it. When you are doing things in your business and you really do not have that energy in it, it’s like trying to push a car up a hill. You might get it to the top but not without a lot of extra energy put into it. So in these times, look at what is going on inside of you. There is obviously a reason for you being in this state.

But when you are in a positive emotional state, the things that you do for your business will have that positive energy behind it. With you being on purpose and expressing that to the world, things naturally will manifest. You will have things come into your life that will guide you to the achievement of your goals. Everything in your business will flow easier like having gas in that car.

I hope that you take what I have learned and realized and apply it into your own life. Make sure that you look at what’s going on inside of yourself when you are not in the flow. You will be much happier and you will achieve more success in your business and in your life because of it.

How Important Is Discipline And Commitment To Your Online Business?

In the online business world, people do not always understand how important having discipline, a commitment, and understanding their desire, really is. Without the right commitment, people tend to loose track of where they really should be putting their energy. I know that I have done this before; lost my main focus for a bit because of some project or something.

Like I was saying in the video, spend the time and really figure out why you are building a business because from that, you will get the discipline and the commitment. Look at what you are doing for your business and decided if what you are doing is the most productive thing possible. Doing the things that are the most productive will allow your online business to grow so much faster and you will see results that much quicker.

I have written a list of all the different things that I want to do on a daily and weekly basis. From this list I have determined what gives me the biggest return. These items are the ones that I make sure that I am always doing. So this is something that you should be doing too. It really will keep you focused on the tasks that are important and that do move your business the fastest.

As you develop your online business, you will find out that you really need to understand the importance of motivation. Most people don’t even know how it works let alone the importance of it.

So like I was saying in the video, motivation is a by-product of action and as you start to act, the motivation keeps you going to do more. Because you understand the importance of motivation and how to attain it, you are now unstoppable. There is nothing on this planet that can stop you from reaching your goals. If you start to lose hope, you can just change your actions and you will find more motivation to keep moving forwards.
