Balance is something that is very important in life. Without being in some sort of balance, we have a very hard time to create success. Let me explain what I am talking about in this video I have made for you below.
Do you understand what I am talking about?
Balance in life is huge. Without it we as humans end up stressing out and cracking.
I also know that a truly balanced life is something that is a bit of an ideal. It is very hard to live truly balanced. But we need to create balanced points in our lives. Say for example, you are working on a big project. Something that takes up 12+ hours a day and you are doing it for a few months. At some point, you will need to leave it for a while. You will need a balance point where you can let go and come back to center a bit.
Now this does not mean that you stop everything and swing full tilt the other side, you just come back to center.
Through doing this, you will create a life that is much more fulfilling and you will become much more successful.
So like I said in the video if you have ever gone through this, please share it. Write a comment below and share your experience of either being in balance or being out of balance.
Till we talk again.
Steven Downward.

Hey John,
Great video! Balance is key since relationships all play a massive roles in our lives.
I also have a tendency to become “mono focused” on my career and let other areas in my life slide. I think it’s important to understand your top 10 values. Then you can see why we take the actions we take on a daily basis.
Balance is key, between all 6 different areas in our lives. Without it, we are not living in harmony.
Great post, thanks again John!

Steven,
This is a really great post my friend and I appreciate you bringing this important topic to the forefront.
In my own life I am what most others would consider to be a workaholic. Now the reason why I work so hard is because I am compressing the amount of time it takes to reach a certain level of success and there have been times that I lost sight of what is truly important in life.
Now what I do to make sure that this doesn’t happen anymore is to have very well defined periods of work and relaxation.
I find that now that these times have been set aside for my family, self development, and plain out rest that I have become much more productive and in fact more passionate fore what it is that do.
I look forward to more quality content my friend.
To Our Massive Success,
John

Hey John
Thanks for the comment.
I totally get what you mean by having set time for working and how much more you get done when you balance the 2 area’s of life. Without that balance, I too was a so called workaholic. I might still be but by setting time to do things with the ones that I love, I have the balance and the recharge that I never had before.
Makes a world of difference.
