About “Getting Things Done” In Your Business…
by Steven Downward in An Entrepreneurs StoriesI am sure that you are aware, in business, we end up having to do a lot of different things to keep our businesses moving forw
ard and creating success.
One of the things that I have noticed is that we end up having some different takes that are almost daily or weekly tasks. You know, things like checking our stats, communicating with people, marketing activities, putting out new content…
Then we also have things that tend to be bigger projects. Thing like creating a system for an are of your business, dealing with site creation, putting together a new project…
But what I have notice in myself and in other people is that we have a hard time doing both of these things at the same time. An example from my life is right now I am working on a big project for my business and I have noticed that I have not been wanting to put something together for my blog.
But the funny thing is that creating something new for my blog is part of how I generate new traffic and new leads for my business. So what needs to end up happening is that we need to create a system where we can and do both of these at the same time.
A business does not operate on just one part of the system. Putting out new content or doing different regular marketing activities builds the people that you can communicate with but the major projects are what normally brings in the most cash.
So how do we do both?
It’s through creating a system that works well for you and your business. I know for myself, I do certain activities first thing in the morning. I know that these regular activities will take me so much time and then after that is done, I have the rest of the day to work on my major projects.
But that is me. So what will work well for you?
How will your business grow the fastest?
Do you need to hire someone to do some of the projects or some of the activities?
All these things need to be looked at and created systems for so that your business will grow as fast as it can. So take the time and develop these systems. Once you have, your business will move that much faster.

PS: This was something that took me a little bit to really understand and to really get. So please share this with some people. It very much might make a difference for them and their business like it has done for me.

Very interesting article. How would I go around creating a system? A step by step guide or maybe an ebook would be really helpful!
